    Project Coordinator

    Your tasks will be
    The Project Coordinator supports the South African initiative with administrative tasks and project management.
    In addition, providing support to coordinate internal processes of the Foundation, such as

    • Manage the office daily administration of office use, contact with the building administration, among other tasks
    • Serve as a project coordinator on various on-going projects
    • Support Programme Specialists, Project Managers and Lead in managing of projects and processes.
    • Support ad-hoc tasks
    • Relationship with vendors payment tracking, billing, contact, quotes, etc.
    • Communicate with high-level government and partner stakeholders
    • Keep track of products, both for donations and for the use of materials for events and workshops.
    • Communication and coordination in administrative matters across the Foundation and the LEGO offices in South Africa and Denmark
    • Manage logistics for national and international visits prepared by the team in South Africa prepare agendas, reservations, meetings, airport pick-ups etc.
    • Coordinate events and meetings of the Foundation team in South Africa.
    • Note taking at all high level meetings

    Time will be split between the office located in Rosebank and the Department of Basic Education in Pretoria.

    Your Qualifications

    • Project coordinator/Project manager career with preference in civil society and/or international development agencies.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position
    • BA degree-level
    • Excellent communication (written and verbal)
    • Detail orientated, organized and structured
    • Interest in social causes
    • Highly adaptable, able to problem solve and work independently
    • Able to multi-task
    • May be required to travel domestically
