Co-ordinates the day-to-day requirements of the costs for capital projects, through the collection of data.
Checks proposed commitments against budget.
Responsible for coordinating and managing the cost accounting function, including the development, installation and monitoring of cost control systems and the interpretation and dissemination of cost accounting information to management.
Issues data regarding cost
Cost estimates, budgets, and expenditure
Commitments, cash flow forecasts, final cost forecasts, cost studies and analyses
Variation orders and cost variances.
Informs personnel of budgeted and final estimated costs.
Recommends corrective action when forecasts and budgets are going to be exceeded.
Minimum Requirements
BCom Financial Management/BCom Accountant
SAIPA / CIMA / SAICA Articles
3-5 years proven finance/accounting experience.
Proficient in Microsoft, MS Excel Advance.
Knowledge of industrial ERP systems such as SAP, Sage or Syspro.
Must be hands on / practical / attention to detail!!
