Project Finance Analyst at ABB

Your role and responsibilities

• In this role, you will have the opportunity to support in all financial and commercial matters related to the project. Each day, you will actively drive their respective project’s performance. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing project invoices and financial accounting and reporting (including project site accounting) documents.

The work model for the role is: Office based

This role is contributing to the Electrification Business in Longmeadow.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Prepares project invoices and financial accounting and reporting (including project site accounting) documents.
• Drives revenues and project cash flow in their assigned project and seeks for optimization.
• Responsible for the accuracy of project balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow and monthly/quarterly forecasts.
• Oversees currency risk in project cash flow and implements/suggests appropriate mitigation measures.
• Supports the Project Manager in coordinating and preparing project reviews, cost reports, claim management, back-charges, and insurance cases.
• Supports the project team in identifying risks and opportunities, and in ensuring adherence to ABB’s corporate governance, assurance, internal controls, and business specific finance directives and instructions.
• Supports the project team and Tender Manager in all financial and commercial aspects of the tender process.
• Implements and ensures compliance with the ABB code of conduct, global and local standards, tools, policies, and processes in their assigned area

Qualifications for the role

• Degree or Diploma in Accounting or Finance
• At least 2 years' experience, with exposure to project and/or service business
• In-depth knowledge of accounting reconciliation concepts
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
• SAP preferred
• Solid technology skills, primarily including Microsoft Excel
• Energetic, highly motivated personality
