    Project ManagementT Officer (PMO)

    Job Description:
    To support the Head of AngloAmerican Operating Model Support in driving coordination of P101 and BI initiatives, ensuring the incorporation of the AngloAmerican Operating Model, by performing the integrated Programme Management Office (PMO) function.

    Performance & Delivery

    • Project Management Office
    • Design, implement and maintain Group BI PMO processes, tools & systems to enable consistent delivery of initiatives.
    • Managing AAOM Implementation Operating Master Schedule.
    • Managing AAOM Implementation stage gates documentation.
    • Facilitate the review of BI & P101 initiatives at Business Unit (BU) and Site management reviews (including steering committees, other forums, etc.) to identify and assess delivery risks and mitigating actions controls.  
    • General maintenance of the AAOM document control online folders.
    • Coordinating Recharge – Resource Allocation.
    • Coordinating collating of T&S initiatives and GBI Budgeting processes.

    Reporting

    • Undertake data analysis and consolidated performance reporting (including data processing, report design, routine and ad-hoc reporting) to develop key insights.
    • Develop presentations to communicate strategic insights for executives, relevant to programme direction and highlight recommendations based on data – particularly from P101 Dashboards & analytics.
    • Develop and deployment effective communication around key PMO initiatives.
    • Coordinating T&S MPR on a monthly basis.
    • Coordinating CEO Business Scorecard on quarterly basis.
    • CEO Board Updates – Quarterly.
    • Coordinating Recharge – Resource Allocation.

    General skills:

    • Use of the smartsheet platform.
    • Assertive communication skills.
    • Ms Office, including Teams.
    • SAP.
    • Programme Management (not only AAOM, but the broader GBI work packages).
    • Management of external consultants/contractors where applicable, to deliver specified scopes of work, as required.
    • Contract management (RFQ, PR, PO, Invoices, etc…).
    • Communication management (Eureka, etc.).
    • Document Management.
    • Knowledge Sharing (CoP, etc).
    • Events management (F2F, etc).

    Qualifications:

    Required:

    • An undergraduate qualification (Bachelors / Honours degree or equivalent) in a relevant Technical, Business or Commercial discipline.
    • Must have experience of the following tools : Primavera P6, MS Projects & Smart Sheets

    Desirable:

    • Qualifications in Project / Programme Management OR a proven track record of extensive practical experience in a role and context of similar complexity.
