Property Lease Financial Controller at Pick n Pay Stores Limited

Job Advert Summary    

• The Property Lease Financial Controller is responsible for overseeing the administration of the property lease rent-roll to ensure accurate rental payments and related accounting.

Minimum Requirements    

• Tertiary finance qualification preferable
• Lease administration experience essential
• SAP FI experience including vendor management
• SAP Real Estate experience essential
• Strong Excel skills
• Strong interpersonal collaborative skills 

Duties & Responsibilities    
LANDLORD RENTAL PAYMENTS:

• Ensure SAP Real Estate contracts are complete and accurately reflect lease terms resulting in the accurate and timely payment of rent to landlords.

LANDLORD ACCOUNT & PAYMENT QUERIES:

• Timeously respond to landlord queries on rent and endeavor to resolve by referring to lease agreements.
• Ensure all unresolved matters are escalated to management.

LANDLORD VENDOR ACCOUNTS:

• Ensure the vendor take-on process is completed in time for new/ changed vendors.
• Work with the Admin Supervisor to ensure that SAP vendor balances are reconciled to landlord statements 

RENT REPORTING:

• Ensure that all accounting for property rentals completed accurately in line with reporting deadlines
• Rent budgeting

FRANCHISE RECOVERIES:

• Process the monthly recoveries of variable charges from franchisees via SAP REFX

AD HOC:

• Assist with ad hoc tasks as and when required
