Applicants must be in possession of a Grade 12/ Senior certificate or equivalent. Basic knowledge of supply management duties, practices as well as the ability to capture data. Knowledge of assets disposal procedure.
Knowledge and understating of legislative framework governing Public Service. Knowledge of procedures in terms of the working environment. Knowledge of assets management. Knowledge of PFMA, PPPFA, Treasury Regulations and the CET Act. Planning and organizing, Communication (verbal and written), computer literacy, flexibility, customer care orientation. Flexibility and teamwork.
DUTIES :
Render demand and acquisition clerical support by performing the following tasks: Request and receive quotations; place orders; provide secretariat or logistical support during the bid consideration and contracts conclusion process and compile draft documents as required.
Render logistical services by placing orders; receive and verify goods from suppliers; capture goods in registers database; receive request for goods from end users and issue goods to end users. Conduct spot checks and stock counts. Maintain records and filing system. Administer inventory, allocate assets in line with policies and guidelines.
Perform physical asset verification, barcoding and updating of asset register. Maintain proper records and communication and reporting, handle asset disposal. Provide administrative support.
