Psychology Educator at Shaw Academy

The Role: 

• Create a course in Psychology, put your own stamp on it and create something awesome for students to improve their well-being.
• Create content that is both highly informative, somewhat practical and educational in the subject of Psychology, at both a beginner and advanced level.
• Develop and create all content using PowerPoint to teach the course, this would consist of 4 modules of between 8-10 lessons (c. 35 mins each)
• Use recording and editing software to create engaging and informative lessons which will be delivered via our proprietary software system
• Develop a variety of quizzes and assignments to enable students to test themselves and qualify for a diploma, and other support material
• Support and work with our sales and customer support team to ensure that students get all questions answered
• Use data and student feedback to drive enhancements of your lessons
• Should the Psychology course prove successful, future courses related to this and the opportunity to build out a faculty of courses in the area.

What you’ll bring to the team:

• A degree in Psychology
• Strong experience using presentation software PowerPoint is mandatory, video editing experience a plus
• Knowledge of psychological theory and practice. 
• Interest in how people think and behave.
• Good research skills.

• Excellent communication skills.
• Sensitive listening and questioning skills.
• Engaging personality which will enable you to deliver engaging content (training or education experience is an advantage but not mandatory)
