Publisher Analytics - Auckland Park at The South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC)

PURPOSE

• Reporting to management on Web & App performance to enhance and ensure conversion optimisation through the use of data analytics.  Effective and efficient analysing web and app performance.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

BUSINESS OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY

• Recommend development change of Web and App design following review of web and app data analytics
• Assist Website and App design in line with design standards and corporate identity
• Interact with the client to incorporate design ideas and best practices through use of data analytics
• Ensure that web and App designs are responsive and accessible
• Accurate reporting to management regarding progress of performance of web and app targets through web and app analytics
• Publish and review SABC Apps Website/s Analytics
• Appropriate Web and App analytics troubleshooting
• Reporting to management on all data analytics
• Align user experience design, mobile channels and apps to ensure search engine optimisation
• Assist business with capability for eCommerce in search advertising, online advertisng and media advertising

GOVERNANCE RISK AND COMPLIANCE

• Cooperation with regulatory and policy affairs to ensure compliance with broadcasting policies, legislation, regulations and licence conditions.
• Ensure compliance with SABC policy and procedures 

STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT

• Experience working in an Agile delivery environment (Scrum) is a must
• Service Level Agreement management (SLA’S)
• Project Management
• Operational Level Agreement Management (OLA’s)
• Effective briefing and communication with stakeholders

INHERENT/MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

 QUALIFICATIONS

• National Diploma in Information Technology or similar qualification NQF Level 6

EXPERIENCE

• At least 2 Years in Digital Media

 KNOWLEDGE:

• Knowledge and understanding of web and app development
• Knowledge and understanding of relevant software applications
• Knowledge and understanding of new & mobile developments and convergence
• Knowledge of software development life-cycle and system designing concepts
• Knowledge of web and mobile technologies eg. HTML Django etc
• Knowledge of Digital Media
