Quality Assurance Auditor (Durban) at Nampak

Job Description

Key Performance Areas will include:

• Accurately measuring quality parameters and compare against standard specifications.
• Auditing of Quality and BRC Management System and Facilitate gap closure with relevant Stakeholders.
• Participate in Customer complaints investigations and Problem Solving.
• Identification of non-conforming raw material and finish goods and facilitate Corrective Action implementation
• On Time reporting and swift decision making on Quality matters
• Developing procedures and work instructions in support of business operations
• Ensuring products produced are as per Customer’s requirements.
• Actively participating in Quality Improvement initiatives.
• Drive reductions of spoilage and HFI on all manufacturing processes by ensuring adherence to Quality Standards and Specifications
• Maintaining highest standard of quality, safety, housekeeping and environment.
• Process inspection, testing and capturing results onto Datalyser.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 with Mathematics & Science;
• National Diploma in Quality Assurance
• Minimum 3 years production experience in a highly pressurized package manufacturing environment.

Knowledge and Skills

• Manufacturing working knowledge;
• Have a valid driver’s license;
• Willingness to undergo further QA training;
• Be moderately competent in MS Office (Word & Excel, Microsoft Outlook);
• Systems (ISO 9001 & FSSC) or related knowledge.
