A well-established manufacturing business based in Gqeberha is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join their engineering team.
This role is central to maintaining QA standards, ensuring engineering processes consistently meet customer requirements, and managing statistical engineering data across the business. You will manage a team of seven and engage with both internal and external stakeholders across audit, compliance, and systems support functions.
Qualifications:
Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related field (NQF 6)
Degree (NQF 7) is advantageous
Experience:
Up to 5 years in Quality Engineering within a manufacturing environment
Essential Skills:
Knowledge of Quality Systems and Engineering Maintenance Systems
MS Office Suite and relevant engineering software
Familiarity with Shopware is advantageous
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain QA procedures, standards, and specifications
Coordinate and support internal and external audits
Manage document management systems and engineering reports
Oversee compliance with regulations and company procedures
Monitor expenditure and contribute to budget processes
