Quality Controller Stores – Mining Industry – R600k – R450k
Inspection of Critical Spares Received: Conduct thorough visual and technical inspections of critical spare parts upon receipt to ensure conformity with purchase order specifications, engineering drawings, and quality standards.
Technical Assistance for Procurement: Provide technical input during the procurement process, including review of specifications, material requirements, and scope of work to ensure alignment with operational needs.
Supplier Evaluation: Participate in the assessment and evaluation of suppliers based on quality, delivery reliability, technical capability, and compliance with company standards.
Compiling of Service Level Agreements (SLAs): Draft and review Service Level Agreements to clearly define performance expectations, service quality standards, responsibilities, penalties, and turnaround times.
Cataloguing of Stock Items: Create and maintain accurate material master data records for all stock items, including part numbers, descriptions, units of measure, and criticality.
Maintenance Management: Support the planning and scheduling of maintenance activities, including the identification of spare parts, materials, and tools
Technical Assistance for Category Managers: Provide engineering or technical insight to category managers during the development of category strategies, supplier selection, and negotiations.

Requirements:
Grade 12
Trade test with a minimum of N4 Engineering Certificate
5 years plus operational quality control experience in a Supply Chain environment
2 years plus operational artisan experience (Recommended)
