    Quality Supervisor (QA, QC & QE)

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

    MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

    • Review and update Level 1, 2, 3 and 4 documents consisting of policy, objectives, procedures, work instructions, inspection instructions, and quality plans to ensure that process changes, engineering changes, customer requirements and changes are accurately documented.
    • Implementation and maintenance of the QHSE management programme in accordance with the ISO 9001/14001 and OHSAS 45001 and code of practice.
    • Conduct customer satisfaction surveys by distributing questionnaires to customers and report the number of responses and ratings (i.e. satisfied/not satisfied) as well as recommend improvements based on results to ensure an increase in customer satisfaction.
    • All functions and tasks as required for management QA Representative
    • Plan and Co-ordinate Management Reviews.
    • Maintain the Non-conformance system:
    • By ensuring that the Non-Conformance registers are updated; and
    • In conjunction with the Facility Event coordinator, report the RO NCR status and statistics thereof.
    • Evaluate and report on costs and high-frequency activities regarding non-conformance / incidents in respect of operational matters.
    • To provide support during the conducting of root cause analysis of non-conforming products and recommend correction and corrective action to ensure close-out of non-conformances.

    PROCESS MANAGEMENT

    • Monitor and ensure that client requirements have been incorporated into manufacturing specifications for the procurement of products locally and internationally.
    • Monitor and ensure that all products comply with Quality Assurance and Environmental standards, maintaining the required quality levels and adhering to all relevant regulatory requirements.
    • Monitor and ensure that all product, process and staff qualifications for special operations are valid.

    RELEASE OF ITEMS & CALIBRATIONS

    • Develop, implement and maintain a COC (Certificate of Conformance) system for RO release of procured and manufactured products and items., by: -
    • Ensuring the release of all designed, manufactured and purchased items before use within RO.
    • Compile incoming inspection reports as and when required.
    • Checking Compilation of product record files (PRF’s).
    • Accept certificate of conformance (COC) for released components.
    • Ensure the update and maintenance of the calibration database.
    • Report, follow - and conduct checks on the status of IMTE.

    AUDIT SYSTEM

    • Generate an audit surveillance schedule for the conducting of QMS internal audits in RO facilities and operations on an annual basis to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Oversee and ensure that audits are conducted as scheduled according to External Service Providers, Necsa and RO Auditing Requirements and quality procedures.
    • Compile action plans for customer complaints, external audit findings and recommendations, verify implementation of recommendations, perform close-out of non-conformities, and notify all relevant parties accordingly.

    PEOPLE MANAGEMENT & PROJECTS  

    • Ensure that all staff are trained, and skilled and that their expertise is optimally applied in order to create a positive and productive working environment with healthy staff morale.
    • Review & Accept all generated dimensional inspection reports.
    • Ensuring that the Project Quality Plans for RO Projects.
    • Follow up and sign off on completed activities in Project Quality Plans.
    • Review & Accept all verification certificates generated by the Technician and QC Inspector, in compliance with the internal verification system.

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

    Education:

    • National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or applicable technical field.
    • Certificates & extensive knowledge in  Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Quality Management System & Environmental Management System.
    • Lead Auditor/Auditor Training.
    • Advanced Metrology.
    • Radiographic Testing Level 01.

    Experience: 

    • 8 years experience in quality assurance in a highly regulated environment.
    • 8 years experience in dimensional inspection and non-destructive examination.
    • 5 years experience as an auditor and lead auditor
