    Radiation Oncology Medical Physicist (ROMP)

    About the Role
    Deliver base level of physics clinical services for the specialised clinical support of radiation therapy in Cancer Care Services at Metro South Hospital and Health Service adhering to recognised standards in radiation dosimetry, protection, quality assurance and treatment planning.

    • Provide a Medical Physics service for the delivery of radiation treatments within the HHS and assist with the proper and accurate treatment of patients with cancer through scientific and technological means.
    • Provide scientific advice to assist in the improvement of radiation treatments in line with international best practice and with the maintenance of radiation safety of patients, visitors and staff.
    • Ensure patients and staff are treated fairly and with mutual respect and understanding, regardless of cultural, religious, ethnic and linguistic backgrounds.
