    Receptionist (Central Office) (Bellville )

    PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

    • As a Receptionist you will play an important and crucial frontline role, fielding telephone calls, receiving visitors, and creating a welcoming and organized environment for all guests and customers.
    • This role is responsible for ensuring smooth front desk operations, managing inquiries professionally, and providing administrative support to the office.
    • As the first point of contact, the Receptionist contributes to the company’s purpose of improving lives and being obsessed with customers by delivering excellent service and maintaining a professional and efficient front of house environment.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Greet and assist visitors and clients
    • Operate the switchboard and redirect calls
    • Maintain a clean and welcoming reception area
    • Manage meeting room bookings and operations
    • Coordinate with Service Assistant in setting up of boardroom for meetings e.g.: Tea / coffee / water and eats etc.
    • Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests
    • Handle mail, couriers, and deliveries
    • Oversee ordering of stationery, water for dispenser and some kitchen supplies
    • Perform general administrative tasks
    • Perform other ad hoc duties as required by business and team members

    Requirements

    QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

    • Matric/Grade 12 Certificate
    • Proven experience of at least 2 years as a receptionist or similar admin assistant position in an office setting.
    • Experience in operating a switchboard (advantageous)
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite essential
    • Understand customer service principles and knowledge of company policies and procedures.
    • Able to work independently and under pressure.
