PURPOSE
To provide recruitment and placement services to HR region.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify funded and vacant positions, verify with line management if the funded vacancies should be filled, ensure completion and signing of motivation to fill, ensure submission of the MTF to Recruitment Unit, validate and confirm correctness of the draft advert. Ensure submission of application register to Recruitment unit by 12h00 of the circular closing date, ensure timeous collection of applications from the Recruitment unit, finalize shortlisting with line management. Schedule and invite candidates for interviews, compile interview packs, conduct interviews, ensure that appointment decisions are made in line with EE targets. Conduct employment references. Conduct qualification and other relevant document verification. Refer recommended employees for entrance medical assessments. Schedule driving assessments where necessary. Ensure timeous writing and signing of appointment recommendation reports. Receive and keep record of approved appointment recommendations. Regularly update and check vacancy track-liner and provide feedback to line management and Recruitment unit. Provide bi-weekly regional recruitment report to line management. Serve in all the HR related statutory committees as well as in OHS and SCM bid committees as and when required.
