    Regional Finance Manager Commercial

    Job Description    
    Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) has an exciting opportunity in the Finance Department. We are looking for a talented individual with relevant skills and experience for a Financial Manager : Inland, Commercial, which is based in CCBSA Regional Office Bloemfontein. The successful candidate will report directly to the Financial Manager: Operations in CCBSA, COF Midrand.

    The primary purpose of the FM: S&D - Regional:

    •  Partner with regional S&D leadership to drive the delivery of the CCBSA’s Regional S&D financial objectives
    •  Produce high quality, accurate, timely and compliant financial information.
    •  Provide financial leadership to CCBSA Regional S&D Manager and the Regional S&D senior management team, playing an active role in decision-making on the S&D Leadership team
    •  Provide CCBSA Regional S&D with strong, integrated analytical insights that enables the delivery of the regional S&D financial performance and partner with senior managers to deliver this.
    •  Deliver a strong governance and control framework within the S&D Region that meets stakeholder expectations.
    •  Manage the operational line managers and finance teams to deliver the required outputs.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities    
     Drive the delivery of CCBSA S&D financial results:
    - Deliver with the BCM & FM: FP&A team the 3 year plan, budget and forecasting process to ensure delivery of the CCBSA objectives.
    - Partner with the BCM, FM: FP&A to generate deep analytical insights on the functional performance of CCBSA S&D Region. Particularly identifying the opportunities for operational execution.
    - Identify top line and margin enhancement opportunities within the S&D region Translate overall analytical insights into detailed deliverables for the S&D function within CCBSA.
    Partnering with each functions senior leadership to execute these initiatives.
    - Drive the required performance and corrective actions required through the operational teams and the regional finance function to ensure swift delivery of the required changes.
    - Manage capex budget and spend
     Finance leadership to CCBSA S&D Regional Manager and their senior managers:
    - Deliver a customer centric, business partnering finance function able to challenge constructively and work with the organization to deliver the initiatives
    - Building strong, collaborative and effective working relationships with CCBSA Regional S&D Manager and their senior leadership team to influence the decision making process and then ensure implementation to deliver results.
    - Strong business partnering support for the S&D 3rd Party strategic objectives
     Provide CCBSA Regional S&D Manager with strong, integrated analytical insights through:
    - Reviewing and analysing the integrated P&L for the CCBSA Regions and specialised functions to identify opportunities and risks.
    - Making use of analytical methodology, trending and KPI’s as tools to generate insights.
    - Develop a continuous improvement mind-set within the S&D finance function, continuously driving to improve processes and reduce operational costs as well as the cost of finance.
    - Build strong and deep specialist financial capability within the Regional S&D finance
    - Provide decision support to the S&D Regional management by integrating into their leadership forums and key projects.
    - Provide ad-hoc analytical services to the S&D Regional senior management team to address specific business requirements
     Deliver a strong governance and control framework that meets stakeholder expectations.
    - Implementing, with operational staff, the governance framework in CCBSA S&D Region.
    - Working with the S&D Regions senior management to deliver appropriate corrective actions to mitigate known risks and governance deficiencies.
    - Develop regional and management routines that drive clear accountability and corrective actions in the region (ie. Regional audit committees).
    - Monitor and ensure the PTP process management & compliance
    - Attendance of stock counts and ensure compliance to hard close procedures
     Staff and organisational capability:
    - With CCBA HQ and HR, drive the management of CCBSA S&D financial capabilities of line managers.
     Finance organisation’s transition into CCBSA.
    - Ensure continued effective financial support during the transition period.
    - Drive, monitor and manage performance delivery for the Value Capture initiatives within the S&D Region or special projects.
    - With CCBA HQ and HR, drive the management of CCBSA S&D financial capabilities of line managers.
     Finance organisation’s transition into CCBSA.

    - Drive, monitor and manage performance delivery for the Value Capture initiatives within the S&D Region
    - Overseeing the Inland LDP (Logistics Distribution partners) financial performance & governance
    - Managing financial performance of Topo Chico and engaging with Senior Management of the Liquor division
    Skills, Experience & Education    
    Relevant tertiary education

    •  CA(SA) / CIMA / CTA/MBA or additional relevant qualification advantageous Experience:
    •  A minimum of 5+ years post-qualification experience  A minimum of 3+ years finance management experience
    •  3+ years S&D experience (including Secondary Distribution & MLPs / OCCDs) advantageous
    •  Direct operational experience advantageous
