A vacancy exists for Registered Nurse Experienced (Theatre), based at Life St. Dominic’s Hospital, reporting to Suzanne van Staden, Theatre Manager. We are seeking to recruit nurses who are interested in the challenge of working in a dynamic and critical healthcare environment. Our Theatre has a brilliant team of Nurses who are well equipped with technology to offer our patients the quality healthcare they deserve. Critical Outputs
Assist the unit to meet the requirements of quality patient care, ensuring that nursing care activities are carried out to comply with SANC regulations, relevant legislation and Life Health Care policies and procedures.
Maintaining and managing an environment in which excellent patient care is rendered.
High professional standards and a commitment to your development.
Good Communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
The ability to supervise subordinates and manage unit workload.
Requirements
General Nursing Degree / Diploma
Registration with SANC
Theatre scrubbing experience.
Some experience in a surgical environment is preferred.
A passion for nursing and a strong desire to expand your professional skill under the guidance of our dynamic multi professional team is all that is required.
