Grade 12 with Maths or Accounting as a subject. Experience within Income section of a Finance Department will be an added advantage. Previous experience working as a cashier in a similar pressurised environment (e.g. Bank) will serve as a strong recommendation.
Knowledge of Cash Drawer Programme will serve as an added advantage. Computer Literate. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to work under pressure. 01 Year experience as a cashier.
DUTIES
Receive payments by cash, debit cards or credit cards and issue receipts.
Balancing daily revenue collected and compare it with the audit trail. Complete bank deposit slips to bank revenue collected on a daily basis.
Open, close and lock the cash register. Responsible for all money received and deposited to the bank.
Perform any other Ad Hoc tasks and duties as requested or required by supervisor from time to time.
