    Representative - Data Solution Services Commercial Operations SA

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Assist clients with data queries, handset training, email activations and set up including training on MTN service products.
    • Ensures that tangible deliverables are met.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Device Set up and fault finding
    • Assist customers in setting up their devices eg, email, GPS, video calling, data cards, handsets
    • Assist with fault finding of devices including basic testing of devices
    • Assist with set up and subscription of Blackberry solution

    Employee Training

    • Informal training of staff on new products and services
    • Create an information pack for staff
    • Finalise sale of data products

    In branded store:

    • accountable for cash and stock
    • accountable for sales and meeting sales targets
    • accountable for stock shortages
    • Provide consumer advice and education / share product knowledge
    • Manage stock in store:
    • Management of shortages.
    • Obsolescence
    • Promotional stock merchandising
    • Manage operations in store:
    • Warranties
    • Customer cell phone repairs (where applicable)
    • Returns
    • OBF’s
    • Identify issues and resolve
    • Communication, in outlet, and with MTN
    • Maintain company’s policies and procedures.
    • Manage and account for all cash.
    • Conduct actual system transactions eg. activations, suspensions, migrations etc.
    • Relevant paperwork and documentation.
    • General Customer services: turnaround time, queuing time, accuracy, and productivity

    Creativities (improvement/innovation inherent)

    • Improve product/service knowledge
    • Continuous research on data products
    • Continuous improvement on service delivery
    • Creative improvement of training material

    QUALIFICATIONS
    Education:

    • Matric
    • Diploma in information technology or related advantageous

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience exposure to data environment, technical background and network fundamentals, experience in area of specialisation, with experience in working with others
    • Experience in working in a small to medium organisation
