We have a great job opportunity for a highly skilled Retail Area Manager to join a national retailer to be based in Gauteng.

Your key job responsibilities as the Retail Area Manager in Pretoria will include:

• Performing full post audits on stores to ensure they achieve an improved score on its next audit, taking into account the min 90% Company Standard.
• Performing a post audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations.
• Identify loopholes and recommend risk measures to ensure protective measures against fraud and theft of the organization's assets are in place.
• Provides guidance and training to all store staff.
• Executing of physical plans/ actions to achieve desired sales results and sales turnover, including motivating staff to do so.
• Train all relevant staff on the importance of store merchandising and ensuring that the store is presented as per Store standards.
• Train the Store Team on how to achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing, mentoring, and leading staff.

Entry Requirements

• Diploma or Degree
• Reliable transport to work to be able to work shifts
• Must be able to travel
• MS Office
• To be polygraphed 3 times a year
• Retail experience (min 5 years Management experience)
