Job Summary 

Our client is a Listed REIT boasting nearly four decades of successful operations in the property development space. With a diverse portfolio under their belt, they handle both development projects and property management internally. Currently, they are expanding their leasing team due to various upcoming developments. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Retail Development Leasing Consultant to join their team.

As a Retail Development Leasing Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in the leasing process for new developments.

Based in our client's Pretoria offices, you will collaborate closely with the leasing team, handling off-plan leasing and tenant sourcing activities.

Additionally, the role will require regular travel to different sites and face-to-face meetings with prospective tenants. Your responsibilities will include tenant sourcing, lease negotiation, and ensuring optimal occupancy rates across the new developments.

Requirement

• The ideal candidate for this role will have a minimum of 5 to 6 years of solid retail leasing experience, demonstrating a proven track record of successfully closing deals, off-plan.
• Experience with using MDA/MRI would be advantageous.
• More importantly, you must possess a relentless hunger for deal-making coupled with exceptional negotiation skills.
• Given the administrative demands of the role, strong organizational and administrative capabilities are paramount.
