Are you someone who can:

• Assessment and decisioning of group risk PHI and CI claims
• Liaison with the Members, Employer, Reinsurers and 3rd party providers
• Driving return to work of Members with short duration disabilities
• Driving early intervention strategies for Member who are incapacitated but not disabled yet, to prevent a claim
• Liaising with Occupational Therapists and all other rehabilitation service providers involved in managing a claim.
• Dealing with declines, disputes and Ombud enquiries including litigation matters
• Section 14 transfer liability handling for incoming and outgoing scheme
• Broker and intermediary relations
• Product and process training to Funds as and when required.
• Periodic reporting on claims statuses and portfolio trends

You will be an ideal candidate if you have:

• At least 5 years’ medical claims assessment experience
• Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Biokineticist academic background
• Worked in a Group Risk Environment
• Experience in dealing with Employers, Members, Fund Trustees/Principal Officer, Ombudsman /PFA and general complaints handling.
