Royalty Accountant/ Controller at LexisNexis

About the Role

Your attention to detail and ability to communicate complex information clearly will be essential in this role. To achieve accurate reporting and growth identification, one must possess extensive accounting knowledge, as well as essential communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating royalty payments to licensing partners & post-show reporting with the Finance team
• Providing analytical support for Royalty, Global content and beyond to supply relevant information to our business
• Assisting with month-end close procedures and ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve accounting processes and controls.
• Preparing financial reports and statements for internal and external stakeholders.
• Performing account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Experience with month-end close processes and reconciliations. experienced in reconciling accounts and closing procedures at month-end.
• Possess a program in Accounting or a related field at the Bachelor's level.
• Have proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Experience communication and interpersonal skills.
• Have experience with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, SAP).
