Special Conditions

• Applicant must be in possession of a qualification endorsed by the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) and concede to enroll for SAICA Articles.

Job Purpose

• To enable the incumbents of the post of graduate accountant to undergo a 3 year in-house training programme which provides candidates with comprehensive training in accounting and finance within the treasury departments.

Key Responsibility Areas

• Preparation of the draft estimate report.
• Assist with the preparation of the annual report and annual financial statements.
• Preparation of the annual and multi-year operating and capital budgets for the assigned output Units.
• Compensation for occupational injuries and diseases costs.
• Undertake various reconciliations for the preparation of the AFS.
• Provide adequately for all bad and doubtful debts.

Essential Requirements

• BCom Degree (NQF Level 7) or equivalent with Accounting as a major.
