    Sales Consultant

    About the job

    We are currently recruiting for SALES CONSULTANTS for our South African business, which will be based in GAUTENG.

    NB: WITH WASTE MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE.

    JOB PURPOSE
    • Call leads from sales force
    • Drive sales into Vlakfontein
    • Contact Hot Leads
    • Inbound Leads
    • Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)
    • Risk management

    STAKEHOLDERS

    INTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS:
    · Operations, Sales, LDSC, Finance, HR, Procurement, Functional Line Managers, Individual Contributors (IC)

    EXTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS:
    · Customers

    Call Leads from Sales Force:
    • Review the data on Sales Force
    • Call the Leads and filter for potential customers
    • Book Meeting with potential customers
    • Drive sales into Vlakfontein

    Contact Hot Leads:
    • Review the customer database
    • Contact the hot lead
    • Send Quotation if requested after consulting Sales Manager
    • Book Meetings with potential customers

    Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):
    • Exercise due diligence towards health and safety of self and others in the organization
    • Comply with the applicable HSE procedures, instructions, requirements, standards received from regulatory and statutory bodies
    • Proactively report superior occurrences, events, violations, and acts that may impact employee health, safety, or environment

    Risk management:
    • Analyze current risks and identify potential risks in area of responsibility
    • Report the risk tailored to the relevant audience
    • Build risk awareness amongst team by providing support and training

    COMPETENCIES

    QUALIFICATIONS AND KNOWLEDGE

    Qualifications:
    • Bachelors of Business Administration

    Knowledge:
    • Language Proficiency
     English (fluent)
     Afrikaans

    TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
    • Driving License
    • MS Office Suite 2017 - Intermediate level
    • Salesforce

    CORE COMPETENCIES
    • Deliver: Consistently strives to deliver business results and exceeds customer expectations
    • Care: Develops rapport and works effectively with a diverse range of people
    • Inspire: Spots opportunities and creates innovative solutions to deliver business results

    EXPERIENCE
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer facing role
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in RSA region

    WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT
    • Office environment
