The Sales Engineer will be required to drive sales of Pragma’s engineering and asset management services by combining technical expertise with commercial acumen to deliver practical, value-driven solutions.
Minimum Requirements
A tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
A minimum of 8 years of experience in engineering, maintenance, or technical sales.
Experience in asset-intensive industries (mining, manufacturing, logistics, utilities).
Exposure to asset management practices or systems is advantageous.
Duties & Responsibilities
Identify opportunities for engineering-driven asset management services.
Engage with technical stakeholders to understand operational challenges.
Develop and present engineering-based solutions to improve asset reliability and performance.
Support the sales process with technical credibility and insight.
Collaborate with internal engineering and consulting teams.
Prepare proposals, scopes of work, and cost estimates.
Maintain strong relationships with plant, maintenance, and operations leadership.
Contribute to cross-selling of consulting and software solutions.
