    Sales Leader

    About the role:
    The Sales Leader is a senior, seasoned sales professional for the EasyBuy channel who will oversee sales and distribution operations and is ready to expand Sun King’s massive sales network to provinces across South Africa, comprising all our areas located in South Africa. This is a Senior position which takes full strategic and tactical responsibility for all business functions of the direct sales business - as well as growing sales across the zone and overseeing province-level sales operations.

    What you would be expected to do;

    • Delivering the planned weighted unit targets at all levels through mapped-out regions with daily sales tracking.
    • Provide guidance to direct reports through strong management and mentorship with an emphasis on robust sales structure.
    • Supervising marketing activities in the country to drive sales growth. This can be through ensuring area shops, conducting evening demos, Trade shows etc.
    • Proper management of collection default rates
    • Ensuring profitability of all regions/ areas within the country and expanding to new regions and areas.
    • Ensure Recruitment and Retention of all Zonal and Regional Sales teams through proper training, management, and performance review.
    • Coach and mentor all direct reports on daily, weekly and monthly tasks.
    • Ensure that all teams have the required tools and materials for trade execution.
    • Ensure visibility in the trade is high and as per the planned picture of success at all outlets.
    • Ensure all costs and expenses are kept within acceptable levels and budget.
    • Provide all required business reports for your location.

    You might be a strong candidate if you:

    • Have a degree in a Business-related field or equivalent
    • At least 7 years hands-on-experience in Sales.
    • Can clearly and straight to the point communicate fluently in both written and spoken English and other local languages.
    • Experience in the Solar Industry, FMCG, and Telecommunication is an added advantage for this role.
    • 90% territorial sales experience of areas/ states in South Africa.
    • Have excellent computer knowledge with comprehensive knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
    • Have excellent skills in planning, organising, prioritising, maximising value and see the big picture.
    • Are able to skillfully build relations and work on internal & external relationships
    • Have Operation Excellence and a strong business acumen
