    Sales Manager - Cape Town CBD

    Job Description

    • Overseeing sales, promotions, and campaigns
    • Planning and directing the hiring and training of new Sales Representatives
    • Participates in planned activities that are appropriate for own and staff development,
    • Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop plans for filling them
    • Manages people performance in the area of responsibility.
    • Ensures continuous process improvement to enable effective operational processes.
    • Directing and coordinating all sales activities
    • Preparing sales budgets and projections and approving expenditures
    • Tracking and analysing sales statistics based on key quantitative metrics.
    • Handling and resolving customer complaints.
    • Making data-informed decisions to drive performance and resource allocation.
    • Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients
    • Ensure that company quotas are met by holding daily check-ins with sales team to set objectives and monitor progress.
    • Overseeing and directing performance of the sales team
    • Defining and executing territory sales plans

    Requirements:

    • Grade 12
    • Commercial Degree/ Diploma – advantageous
    • Five or more years of experience in managing sales in a corporate call centre setting
    • Ability to set sales targets and achieve them effectively.
    • Proven involvement in the formulation and execution of sales strategies
    • Proven record of success with the entire sales process, from planning to closing
    • Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
    • Experience using CRM to manage the sales process and forecast sales.
    • Strong analytical skills to identify trends and sales patterns.
    • Ability to design and implement a successful sale strategy
    • Ability to guide and mentor sales representatives.
    • Planning, organization, and problem-solving skills
    • Advanced time management skills
