Sales Representative – Construction & Mining Industry at Phakisa Group

Purpose of the Position

• The Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting and selling construction and mining-related products and services to clients within the assigned region. The successful candidate will focus on building strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets while maintaining excellent customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the construction and mining sectors
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients
• Conduct regular client visits and site meetings
• Promote company products and services to prospective customers
• Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and sales presentations
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
• Conduct market research and monitor competitor activities
• Follow up on customer enquiries and provide after-sales support
• Maintain accurate sales records and reports
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure efficient service delivery
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards when visiting sites

Minimum Requirements

• Matric / Grade 12
• Valid Driver’s Licence
• Own Reliable Transport
• Minimum 2 years’ sales experience within the mining or construction industry
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and meet targets
• Computer literacy (MS Office)
• Willingness to travel within the assigned region
