What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)
In the role of Sales Representative, you will be at the forefront of promoting water metering solutions to various sectors. Your tasks will involve identifying and targeting new clients, building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers, and delivering customised, sustainable solutions. You will enjoy the fast pace technical sales environment working with like-minded individuals. You will create and present compelling sales proposals, negotiate contracts, product demonstrations and ensure seamless solution implementation. Post-sale support will be critical, as you work to maintain high customer satisfaction and retention through proactive communication. Furthermore, you will track and analyse sales metrics, providing regular updates to management.
What you’ll need
You will need a matric and preferably a bachelor’s degree in a commercial or technical field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical B2B sales with strong technical knowledge about solutions, particularly electricity and water meters, is essential. Experience working with customers in both large global companies and small to medium-sized businesses is required. Proficiency in contract management and solution selling and proficient in English as well as either siSwati, Xitsonga, isiXhosa, isiNdebele, Sepedi or Tshivenda. You should be adept at building relationships, navigating complex sales cases, and delivering high standards of customer service.
