Selling products, systems and ongoing services to new customers, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets for the Process Industries Mining division.
Establishing and maintains effective customer relationships to understand their needs, promotes their understanding of ABB’s complete Hoist offering, and aligns with them to provide a solution.
Ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
Preparing sales Opportunity plans that define Scope, Stakeholder Map, Strategy, Tactical Actions and Support required to Win the maximum share of scope within the Opportunity.
Preparing technical and promotional collateral to create demand within the Hoisting Community network, mobilize customer Budget applications and deliver Value Proposals to Customer team to convert the demand creation concepts into tangible business Orders.
Performing regular Pipeline status reviews and proposes recovery plans in cases of potential order shortfalls.
Creating added value for the customer and ABB and ensures the successful outcome of transactions, contracts and proposals by using effective sales techniques.
Communicates to the customers about the details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB’s offering and strategy.
Ensuring efficient marketing activities and value proposition topics are regularly mobilized to customers and consultants.
Identifying and drives the development of new market opportunities in the designated market areas and ensures know-how sharing and cross-collaboration with other ABB Sales team members.
Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supports cash collection and project management activities, when needed.
Preparing offers in coordination with the bid and proposal team.
Ensuring appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditions.
Qualifications for the role
Tertiary qualification in automation or electrical or mechanical engineering
5-10 years of experience in Mine Hoist applications.
Sales Skills such as disciplined & methodical preparation, ability to connect and listen and understand customer requirements, effectively consult and position value propositions and solutions, create compelling Techno-Commercial Offers and winning through effective negotiation techniques.
Hoist Control and Safety Systems experience and application knowledge.
Hoist Mechanical and Electrical systems experience and application knowledge.
Projects experience within the Hoisting environment.
Exposure and functional knowledge of Electrical Systems such as Medium Voltage, Low Voltage, Motor Control and Variable Speed Drives.
