SAP FICO Business Analyst at Progressive Edge

A global organisation who happens to be the worlds largest prime label and packaging supplier has a new opportunity available for a mid level SAP FICO business or Technical analyst.

The Business Analyst - SAP (with a focus on FICO modules) will be an integral part of a team enabling the business to make better decisions by leveraging the companys SAP technology assets by applying knowledge of business processes, master data management, and SAP configuration. The solutions designed and deployed will directly impact the day-to-day work activities of the companys business users and have a huge impact on the operational efficiencies in various departments and thus directly impact the companys bottom line.

The Business Analyst SAP will have excellent communication skills and have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team and work closely with the business users to understand and refine requirements which will be translated into meaningful information delivered as ad-hoc queries, Reports or Analyses/Dashboards. The Business Analyst SAP is expected to be a self-starter and have the ability to learn existing and new tools and technologies.

Business Analyst SAP FICO is expected to follow, challenge and improve established processes surrounding design, development, testing and deployment of BI solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to business users by answering SAP related questions and provide guidance and ad-hoc data as required in a timely manner
• Work with a cross functional team to understand the business issues or identify opportunities and gather system requirements
• Translate business requirements into solutions that utilize standard SAP functionality where possible.
• Design and create data visualizations using Data Visualization tool/platform to help users identify trends and patterns and exceptions
• Configure SAP FICO to meet business requirements.
• Work with users to develop functional specifications for system enhancements or reporting requirements.
• Conduct knowledge transfer and training of end-users, including sharing best practices.
• Provide user support with SAP application related issues. Administer and support application as necessary

Requirements:

• At least two to four years related experience and/or training with proven track record, any product or industry certification in SAP area a plus.
• Experience configuring SAP and understand the integrations between SAP modules.
• Configuration, data uploads, training on AR, AP and GL, and support of the above-mentioned modules
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
