    SAP Human Resources Information Systems Specialist Specialist

    About the job
    Maintain human resource information systems by updating employee data, managing system upgrades, generating HR-related reports, managing user accounts, resolving bugs, and maintaining data integrity.
    HRIS/SAP

    • database up to date
    • Control and manage employee data departmentally to achieve accuracy
    • Collecting, storing, and tracking employee data
    • Sync up regularly to ensure that nothing is being overlooked, and to discuss necessary changes
    • Review duplicate data to ensure duplicates are removed from the system.
    • Manage employee access to what they need within HR platforms
    • Ensure de-provision access to business systems promptly working closely with IT
    • Employee position number creation
    • Org structure continuous updating
    • Evaluate all required documents such as hiring and termination of all employees
    • Process and maintain periodic reports of employee record data, develop reports

    VERIFY DATA INTEGRITY

    • Regularly conduct system audits to guarantee data integrity
    • Conduct a random departmental audit to improve data quality
    • Reach out to departments or individuals to confirm employee information
    • Ensure payroll reports corresponds with employee data
    • Meet functional managers to align cost centers & timeous update
    • Apply limit access to key users strategy, to trace a data integrity loss to its origin
    • Develop SOP and logical controls to limit the opportunity for human error to enter into the process.
    • Perform periodic system health checks and ensure functionality and features are up to date

    PROVIDE TECHNICAL SUPPORT

    • ·Support several HRIS’s & respond to queries from end-users
    • Responsible for system analysis, maintenance, and administration of various HRIS, SAP, BLINK, and compensation platforms and interface utilities
    • Ensure system compliance with all legislative, union, and business requirements
    • Develop, organize, and maintain various spreadsheets and systems
    • Provide technical HRIS support to the business & HR staff
    • Investigate incoming system questions and concerns; and provide analysis or data pertinent to the issue
    • Facilitate, test, and support mass data migration efforts

    SHARE EXPERTISE

    • Act as a bridge between HR & IT
    • Addressing inquiries from HR staff, employees and communicating user needs to the IT
    • Liaise with HQ HR
    • Offer continuous HRIS training to the entire business
    • Remain current on HR system trends, issues, and best practices
    • Effectively investigate end-user system issues and trends, recommending appropriate courses of action based on the results of completed analyses
    • Conduct research and keep up-to-date on best practices for HRIS technologies and trends

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • Matric Certificate
    • Degree/Diploma in HR management
    • Related qualification in IT, management, or business
    • Ability to speak English
    • Experience in HR,
    • Knowledge of sap will be an advantage
    • Good knowledge of excel mails and word

    ·REQUIRED SKILLS:

    • Ability to work with, update, and maintain HRIS database
    • Knowledge of business analysis tools
    • System documentation and data analysis
    • Good time management skills
    • Excellent communication both written and verbal
    • Good customer service skills
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Attention to detail but also the ability to see the implications for the bigger picture
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Working effectively in a team
    • Computer Literate (MS Office and SAP)
