Client (oil major) is rolling out a very matured SAP ECC template in South Africa and we require a resource to play an advisory role to the client in SAP SD at Cape Town.
The Project team would require a local resource to work with the local businesses and support them with pre-, cut over and post-go live activities. Local consultant will have project team support, but would need to work closely with the business on executing planned project activities (act as a team proxy).
Handhold business users during User Acceptance Test in test environment. Explain system behavior to end-users, and support timely sign off the acceptance testing.
Impart training on SAP functionalities to end users (train the trainer concept, wherein the new resource will be equipped with KT beforehand along with training materials)
Execute business cut over activities supported by experienced members of the project team.
Execute transactions related to day-to-day business processes like sales order, delivery and invoice processing, update master data, contract creation, update pricing or output records, etc.
Monitor important sales interfaces, batch jobs and error handling at business user end.
Help business users at SA to use all sales processes correctly and leverage various sales reports in ECC (standard and custom developed reports)
Requirements
Experience in SAP ECC Sales and Distribution Module
"5 years experience in end-to-end SAP project implementations with exposure to SAP IS-Oil Downstream and F&A pricing.
Good interpersonal and communication skills, time-management, written and spoken communication (English).
Expect to feel comfortable being in focal position and to be in the driving seat."
