The Role

The SAP Senior Developer is a hands-on role and will be working as part of the SAP Centre team reporting to the SAP Development Manager to support the global SAP Landscape.

NRF are operating on a two track (Support and Release) SAP Landscape with two vendors delivering changes in an Onshore Offshore model. We are seeking an experienced SAP Developer to provide in-house expertise in analyzing issues/changes and to provide L3 support. This role involves working alongside the project team and vendors to support/enhance the SAP landscape. We are improving the internal capability to enable us to direct and make us less dependent on 3rd party vendors.

Key responsibilities:-

• Provide Operational Excellence for NRF in the areas of SAP ECC, Fiori, Gateway, HANA and PO.
• Accountable for technical enhancements on the SAP Landscape.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with NRF IT Security policies for SAP
• Support the SAP Centre team & Business on SAP related changes
• Support IT Solution Delivery and Design team in delivering the changes
• Work with NRF Support Partners, assess operational quality, identify gaps, and manage closure of gaps in SAP ECC, Fiori, Gateway, HANA and PO.
• Provide support for Major Incident Management and ensure timely resolution of Major Incidents with functional best practices.

Additional accountabilities:

• Any other duties as deemed necessary to achieve department goals

Key Outputs/Deliverables:

• Immediately upon appointment the role would be expected to perform SAP development tasks as directed by the SAP Development Manager, business stakeholders and functional, technical & support colleagues within the SAP Centre Team.

Person Specification

Qualification and Experience:

• Minimum of 7 years ABAP experience
• Experience of developing in the following SAP modules - FI, CO, SD, HR, PS .
• Experience of working in a complicated SAP landscape across ECC, Fiori, Gateway, HANA
• Experience of working cross-culturally and cross-functionally with the ability to adapt your personal style to different environments
• Experience of working in a fast-paced environment with demanding deadlines and a desire to deliver to milestones.

Technical & Specialist Knowledge

• Solid ABAP development experience including debugging, code performance tuning, general troubleshooting and implementing SAP modifications
• The understanding of SAP functionality and the integration across modules
• Strong ABAP NetWeaver 7.4 & ABAP OO experience
• Fiori (UI5) & Gateway experience
• ABAP Core Data Services experience
• Strong Adobe forms (output) experience
• Security and Authorization's skills

Nice to have

• Any certification on SAP or HANA
• S/4 Hana migration/upgrade project experience
• PI/Process Orchestration 7.5 exposure
• Exposure to Opentext, Tableau, EbillingHub
• Knowledge of any SAP Expense management system
• Knowledge of ECC integration with BI for HANA, BODS and BPC reporting
• Solution Manager 7.1/7.2 (CHARM)
• ServiceNow (Incident Management tool)
