Description
The SAP Training Lead will be responsible for the overall execution of training activities for the project. This includes covering training activities for Master data, Pricing and Promotions, Procurement, Store Operations, DC Logistics, Finance, Reporting and impacted Existing Shoprite Systems. The SAP Training Lead will lead a team of consultants in the effort to build and deploy the training curriculum for SAP including: defining the training strategy, developing the training delivery strategy, and providing leadership for the conception, design, development, deployment and maintenance of SAP training solutions and material. The deployment is iterative meaning there will be several implementations. Therefore training development and delivery will be a reoccurring event.
The Role
•Responsible for the training activities for the entire implementation (all releases) and for the timely completion of Training objectives.
•Responsible for successful train-the-trainer, end user training, and training material creation, updating, and ongoing maintenance.
•Manage and participate in curriculum development, training program design, training materials development and delivery with the consulting team.
•Establish release-specific training requirements and determine training scope.
•Coordinate and validate training activities with process teams and SMEs.
•On-time execution of multi-year Training Project Plan.
•Identify and ensure completion of all learning management activity aspects of training (registration, training material housing, evaluations, etc.)
•Assist with identifying trainer resources.
•Collaborate with team streams to ensure release-specific training environment needs (i.e., training IDs, refresh schedule, data). •Manage activities and tasks, monitor progress, and issues resolution
Requirements
•Extensive experience in Enterprise application training delivery primarily in SAP
•Broad SAP knowledge of SAP in Master data, Pricing, Store, Finance, Procurement and DC Logistics
•Extensive training course development and delivery experience
•Experience in delivering end to end training programmes
The scheduled start date for this position is the 1st of November 2021.
We are looking for a candidate with previous retail experience
