    SATIC: Strategy Consultant

    About the Role

    • We are looking for a Strategy Consultant to join our growing SATIC team. This role is suited to an experienced strategy professional with strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills who is looking to take ownership of complex workstreams while supporting the development of junior team members.
    • As a Senior Associate, you will support the delivery of high-quality strategy and transformation projects for UK-based clients, working as part of multidisciplinary teams across a variety of sectors and challenges. You will be expected to apply structured problem-solving, manage competing priorities and contribute to the growth of the Strategy team through client delivery, people development and business development activities.

    Responsibilities

    • Leading and supporting the delivery of strategy projects through research, analysis and structured problem-solving
    • Developing strategic recommendations that address complex business, policy and organisational challenges
    • Conducting market, sector and stakeholder research to generate evidence-based insights
    • Designing and delivering strategic assessments, options appraisals and operating model reviews, ensuring they meet internal quality standards and client expectations
    • Building and testing hypotheses to address complex client challenges and inform decision-making
    • Synthesising large volumes of information into clear, actionable recommendations
    • Producing and reviewing high-quality reports, presentations and client deliverables
    • Coordinating project workstreams and supporting delivery across multiple engagements
    • Presenting findings and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders
    • Supporting business development activities, including proposal writing, commercial inputs, risk management activities, client discussions and thought leadership
    • Coaching, mentoring and supporting Associates and more junior team members
    • Staying abreast of emerging trends, policies and developments relevant to UK public sector and private sector clients

    Qualifications

    • Undergraduate degree in any discipline; a postgraduate qualification is desirable
    • 4–7 years of relevant experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, policy, management consulting or a similar environment

    Required Skills

    • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in strategy frameworks, strategy development and analysis
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and proven ability to synthesise complex information into clear insights and recommendations
    • Ability to execute tasks independently and manage workstreams with limited supervision
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting findings to different audiences and seniority levels
    • Experience developing reports, presentations and other client-facing deliverables
    • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
    • Experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
    • Experience engaging with stakeholders to gather information, challenge assumptions and build consensus

    Preferred Skills

    • Experience working with public and private sector clients, government departments or policy programmes
    • Experience supporting business development activities and proposal writing
    • Experience facilitating workshops, interviews or stakeholder engagement activities
    • Knowledge of operating model design, transformation programmes or organisational strategy
    • Experience coaching or mentoring junior team members

    The successful candidates will be required to work the standard office hours of the UK office. During the training period, attendance in the office will be required on a daily basis. Following the completion of training, candidates will transition to a hybrid working model. Please note that PwC SATIC is currently refining its hybrid working approach, and this remains subject to change in line with business, client, and team requirements.
