Operational delivery

• Execution of Macro Schedules on the Synergy System for Programming
• Strong understanding of territories and DStv packages to ensure that the best value is extracted from key sports rights on all relevant platforms.
• Local and International sports knowledge is a critical requirement.
• Prioritize content by scheduling, territorial splits and tiering events across the different territories according to business requirements.
• In depth system knowledge of Synergy.
• Enhance the schedule through improvements based on available data and editorial relevance, Utilize AR’s and associated data to inform scheduling decisions.
• Work closely with stakeholder departments and other business units on changes so that they may be effectively communicated and implemented.
• Provide a dynamic approach to scheduling , incorporating speed and urgency.
• Be available for weekend standby shifts to assist TX Producers by facilitating changes to the schedules and EPG.

Qualification:

• NQF Level 6 Qualification or a minimum five years of media or broadcasting experience in sport.

Qualification Preferred:

• Varied media experience or tertiary qualification in media or sports is advantageous.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years’ Macro Scheduler experience or in similar role
