Section Head - Land Use Management
- Job Type Full Time
- Qualification Bachelors
- Experience 8 years
- Location Western Cape
- City Cape Town
- Job Field Building and Construction , Engineering / Technical
Requirements
- A relevant three-year tertiary qualification in Town Planning
- A minimum of eight (8) years' appropriate experience, of which at least two (2) years must have been supervisory experience at a senior level
- Registration as a Professional Planner with SACPLAN
- Working knowledge of Planning/Local Government legislation,
- Land-Use Schemes, MSA, NEMA Regulations and other related legislation and policies
- Computer literacy (particularly in MS Office and SAP)
- A valid driver's licence.
Key Performance Areas
- Undertake strategic management of the District Land Use Management Section
- Perform technical and operational management of the Land Use Section
- Manage personnel to achieve performance outcomes.
