We are seeking an experienced Financial Manager to join our growing start-up entity. This is a senior role within the business unit, requiring a finance professional with strong operational, and data analysis expertise.
This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, solutions-driven finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has proven experience working with large financial data sets and applying advanced analytical skills to drive decision-making.
Duties and Responsibilities
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement effective forecasting and funding strategies to maintain financial stability.
Risk & Compliance: Ensure full adherence to financial regulations, company policies, and compliance standards.
Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
Data Analysis: Work with large and complex data sets to identify trends, anomalies, and risks; provide high-level analytical insights to support operations and decision-making.
Reporting: reporting directly to the Head of Business Unit and indirectly to the Group CFO.
Daily operational decision making.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance – non-negotiable
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a finance role.
Proven experience working with large financial data sets and applying advanced analytical methods
Experience in the financial services sector preferred
SAICA/SAIPA articles will be an added advantage
