Senior Administrator: Contracts (Grade 8) (CLOSING DATE: 14 January 2024)
Identification, compilation and implementation of appropriate agreements through liaison with internal clients, the Legal Department and Suppliers (local and foreign).
Daily processing of Purchase Requests to Purchase Orders.
Sourcing of the correct items/services by identifying potential Suppliers approved to supply items or provide services and requesting them to quote on provided scope of work or item description.
Sourcing of potential Suppliers that can supply items or provide services and requesting them to quote on provided scope of work or item description.
Evaluation and adjudication of quotations submitted by Suppliers
Negotiations with Suppliers on commercial terms including but not limited to price, payment terms, quality, lead time etc.
Expediting of all outstanding orders.
Handling of Creditors queries.
Administration related to handling an agreement.
Filing of all documentation related to administrative tasks
Should be willing to work in a plant environment
Requirements
Grade 12 with Maths (Diploma in Purchasing and Supply Management will be advantageous)
Computer Literate (JDE system, MS Word & MS Excel)
Knowledge of BBBEE
Min of 2 years Administrative experience which included purchasing
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Accuracy and good attention to detail
Professionalism and good business communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to interact with senior management in Columbus and at Suppliers
Ability to analyze scenarios and find the best solution
An ability to stay calm and tactful under pressure
Self-disciplined and committed to following strict procedures
Honesty and respect for confidentiality
Be able to work independently without constant supervision
