Duties/Pligte

• Collecting, analysing and writing specifications (functional and non-functional) and business cases (when required);
• Performing quality assurance reviews on requirements or other outputs;
• Working in groups and teams;
• Facilitating analysis and requirements workshops;
• Engaging in proactive problem-solving;
• Interacting with administrative, academic and technical role-players;
• Assisting with training, project management, change management and specification reviews;
• Working on projects that can involve multiple systems and processes with interfaces to external and internal projects, as well as on ssmall to medium risk projects;
• Owning and developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
• Constantly searching for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the customer.

Job Requirements/Pos Vereistes

• Degree in Information Science, Computer Science or a related field, or a certified professional business analyst;
• At least five years' practical experience as a business analyst;
• Three or more years' experience of working in a higher education institution with exposure to the workings of a university;

Proven skills in and knowledge of:

• Modelling and analytical tools and methodologies;
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge and understanding of multiple business areas and systems;
• Proven knowledge of information systems and technology in order to be able to interpret technology for business users and business needs for technologists;
