REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12. National Diploma or equivalent qualification in Financial Management or Accounting. Code 08 (EB) driver’s license. Computer Literate (Solar, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint). Good telephone etiquette. Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

DUTIES

• To assist in dealing with all account-related matters by ensuring a productive and responsible for efficient service to the public. Opening of new accounts, transferring of meters to new accounts, and updating of customer data by ensuring that all account information is accurate and complete.
•  Capture meter readings. Handle all account enquiries over the counter and telephonically.
• Give accurate recordings, balances on accounts and payments. Attend to all queries with attorneys regarding handed over accounts. Provide accurate information needed for legal procedures to recover arrears and minimize outstanding debt. Making payment arrangements with customers.
• Correcting handover accounts journals to ensure that corrections are done for effective service delivery. Perform any other related Ad Hoc task and duties as requested or required by management (supervisor) from time to time.
