Senior Data Engineer at Core Group

Job Purpose

Join our Business Intelligence business unit as a Data Engineer and help us drive our data-driven initiatives forward. As a SQL Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining databases and data pipelines that ensure data quality, accuracy, and availability.

To be considered, you should have:

• A degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematics, or a related field
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role

In addition to your technical expertise, you should bring:

• Strong engineering skills
• Experience in designing and implementing database systems, including data warehousing, data marts, and data pipelines
• Knowledge of data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes
• Ability to implement data governance and security measures
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Maintaining high-quality data that is accurate, up-to-date, and meets business requirements
• Ensuring data is available and accessible to authorized users in a timely and efficient manner
• Implementing effective data integration and processing processes to support business initiatives
• Ensuring data is managed and protected according to organizational policies and regulations
• Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and communicating technical information to non-technical stakeholders
