• Provide medium to long term energy planning capability.
• Perform economic and financial analysis on alternative technology options and various energy planning studies.
• Conducting research on energy planning methods, developing new techniques and adapting appropriate methods and techniques.
• Continuous assessment of the developments in the energy sector.

Minimum requirements
Minimum Requirements:
 
Qualification(s): 

• BSc Eng./B Eng. Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic/Industrial Engineering at NQF 8 with 480 Credits.

Experience:

• 4 years’ experience in power system planning and/or forecasting environment
