Senior Forensics Analyst (JHB Illovo) at BDO South Africa

Purpose of this job:

• To service and support the digital forensic services team of BDO.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform forensic data analysis
• Perform forensic data acquisitions and analysis
• Execute and review eDiscovery searches

Requirements

Qualifications:

• IT related university degree or equivalent
• Post graduate qualification will be beneficial

Experience:

• Min 5 year working experience

Competencies:

Technical Competencies

• Proficiency with T-SQL and SQL Visual Studio
• Proficiency with MS Power BI
• Proficiency in computer hardware and software architecture
• Proficiency in Windows operating system (Linus and MacOS is beneficial)
• Proficiency in forensic data acquisition
• Proficiency with data storage technology
• Proficient knowledge of network architecture
• Familiarity with Generative AI is beneficial
• Proficiency with either with EnCase, FTK or Axiom.
