    Senior Human Resource Officer- Talent Management

    Required Skills and Competencies

    • Management and supervisory skills.
    • Interpersonal and negotiation skills.
    • Change management and strategic thinking skills.
    • Planning and organizational skills.
    • Research and analytical skills.
    • Ability to work in teams and in a multicultural environment.
    • Knowledge and working understanding of Microsoft Office suite and sound knowledge of SAP HCM.
    • Knowledge and working understanding of AU policies, processes and standards.
    • Report writing, communication and presentation skills.

    Education and Experience:

    • A Master's degree in Human Resources Management or Development, Organizational Development, Social Sciences, Business Administration or related discipline with seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in Human Resources Management, particularly in the design and implementation of Talent Management, Performance Management and Learning & Development processes and tools, out of which three (3) years should be at supervisory role within the public sector, multilateral institutions, and international non-governmental or similar organizations nationally, regionally and/or internationally.

    Or

    • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management and Development, Organizational Development, Social Sciences, Business Administration or related discipline with ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in human resources management particularly in the design and implementation of Talent Management, Performance management and Learning & Development processes and tool within the public sector, multilateral institutions, and international non-governmental or similar organizations nationally, regionally and/or internationally.
