    Senior Legislation Researcher - Parliament

    Description

    The successful candidate will be responsible for:

    • Supporting the Party’s performance on Private Member’s Bills, Bills from the executive and other parties before Parliament
    • Conducting Parliamentary research and providing legal and procedural advice when needed
    • Conducting research/research-related tasks that would support the Party and coordinate with other structures to ensure optimal support

    Minimum requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in law
    • Relevant post-graduate qualification
    • Previous research experience
    • Strong computer literacy, particularly MS Office Suite and Zoom
    • Admission as an attorney (advantageous)
    • Proficiency in more than one language (advantageous)
