Senior Manager, Acquisition & Business at Standard Bank Group

Job Description

• To formulate and implement an effective new business acquisition plans to onboard new to bank Commercial Banking clients with a target turnover of between R300m to R2billion per annum. To leverage and optimise people, resources, channels, business and risk controls in line with commercial market potential, to maximise business growth, retention and profitability targets.

Qualification

• Banking/ Finance or similar degree

Experience Required

• 8-10 years previous managerial experience in a business development role dealing with high value commercial customers.
• Imperative to have a minimum of 3 years Capital Structuring experience in Commercial Banking determining Debt Capacity, calculating appropriate financial covenants, understanding and articulating these covenants and measurements to customers, preparing and motivating credit applications while understanding business and industry risks.
