Manage a team of Technical Account Managers (TAMs) to deliver timely, accurate and professional technical assistance to all internal and external customers
Process and track a high volume of software product submissions and requests from a portfolio of global sellers
Ensure a quality experience for AWS Marketplace buyers by ensuring TAM’s vet seller’s products for policy compliance, security standards, and usability
Track and quantify seller operational challenges in aggregate to provide requirements for automation of repetitive tasks, tooling improvements, and standard operating procedures
Work with engineers, PM teams, and senior leadership to improve the seller experience
Demonstrate excellent time-management/prioritization skills and the ability to work independently
Constantly managing and driving a backlog of improvement requests from external and internal stakeholders, constantly assessing for risk and impact
Foster a positive team environment that motivates team members to meet and exceed team SLAs, quality standards, and goals
Manage the team’s operations with a high attention to detail and maintain low error rates for product publishing
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Information Science / Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
3 to 5 years of experience leading team’s in technical or account based roles
Understanding of operating systems such as Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat) and/or Microsoft Windows Server
Knowledge of the software industry, cloud computing, and the AWS stack
Ability to communicate professionally at the executive level in both written and verbal form
Ability to understand technical concepts so you can provide input into solution scalability
Ability to write white papers providing business guidance to senior leadership
Bias for action and ability to deal with ambiguity, including troubleshooting and problem solving in loosely-defined situations
Ability to handle multiple tasks and competing priorities from a variety of internal and external stakeholders
Ability to deliver results independently in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment with a strong sense of ownership
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate degree, MBA, or equivalent work experience
Experience with AWS services, EC2, S3, Lambda, Docker, AI, or IoT is a plus
Previous experience leading operations for vendor management, digital content pipelines and ingestion, technical account management, product management, or system administrators
Experience streamlining disparate processes and systems into a cohesive workflow
Previous experience using creative and analytical problem-solving skills to deliver complex solutions
Experience in completing deep dives and data analysis on emerging issues for senior leadership
